The Early Three
Today in class we reviewed the tests we took yesterday. We
did I thing where Mr. Schick calls your score if you want him to. If you got an
A, he rang the bell and if you didn’t, he would just call you up. I ended up
getting an 87 on the bubble portion of test. He then asked us to know a little
bit about the Articles of Confederation, Constitution, and Bill of Rights.
The Articles of Confederation was the first official
document of the United States of America. It began being written at The Second
Continental Congress on July 12, 1776 and it was ratified by the states in 1777.
The Constitution was created on September 17, 1787 and
ratified on June 21, 1788. It was created to replace the Articles of
Confederation and to have a set rights for the people.
The Bill of Rights is the first ten amendments in the US
Constitution. They outline the rights the people have and the limitations the
government has. Some of the concepts were based on the Magna Carta.
